Immigrants can get nominated through PNP program and can get additional 600 points in their Express Entry profile, if they are nominated. There are few PNP programs that will nominate immigrants directly without Express Entry.

Ontario

Ontario selects applicants through their HUMAN CAPITAL PRIORITY STREAM. To be selected applicants profile has to active in the Express Entry Pool of candidates. Ontario issues Notice of Interest (NOI) to targeted applicants who meets the requirements of HCP Stream criteria.

Application fees for Ontario is $1500 CAD.

Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia only selects applicant who have an active Express Entry profile and who meet the minimum requirement of Nova Scotia In-Demand list. Nova Scotia also known as NSNP PNP opens their online portal on regular interval, applicants interested to apply to NSNP must be ready with the documents at the time of application. Nova Scotia follows online submission of application and that too with very little of application to be considered. It generally provides nomination to the applicant within a month after successfully submitting the application.

There is no application fees.

Manitoba

Manitoba selects applicants through their Expression of Interest (EOI). Manitoba’s conducts EOI draw every month. Manitoba prefers the applicants with a tie in Manitoba. Applicants will get additional points if they a relative or friend in Manitoba. Selected skilled worker overseas will receive Letter of Advice to Apply from Manitoba. Within 30 days of receiving the Letter of Advice to Apply applicant needs to be pay the application fees and submit the required documents.

Application fees is $500 CAD.

Alberta

Alberta has started a new program in which they will take applicants from Express Entry Pool. This program was being introduced in January 2018. They prefer applicants with ties in Alberta. As per their earlier requirement, they used to take applicants who have a job-offer in Canada.

There is no application fees.

Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan selects the applicants through their Expression of Interest (EOI) and on the basis of NOC in-demand in Saskatchewan. Saskatchewan is a province that selects applicants through Express Entry as well as through Occupation In-demand (Non-Express Entry). This allows the applicant opportunity to apply for Canada PR even though if they do not have CLB-7 in IELTS. Saskatchewan only gives points for principal applicant’s education, IELTS, age, experience and adaptability factor.

Application fees for Saskatchewan is $300 CAD.

Quebec

Quebec Arima program is the latest version of Quebec PNP program. Interested applicants have to create a Declaration of Interest in the Arima program. The applicants will be selected on the basis of the regular draw conducted by the government. Selected applicants will then have to submit their applications with the supporting documents and fees.

Application fees for skilled worker is $785 CAD and each accompanying member $168 CAD.

Prince Edward Island

Prince Edward Island also known as PEID selects applicants on the basis of their Expression of Interest form. They do not have any Occupation In-Demand criteria nor any point system. The applicants are selected based on the Labour market requirement.

There is no application fees.

Other PNP’s and Territories Canada consider taking applicants who have a job-offer in Canada.
